Stockport Recorder College provides the opportunity for young musicians to meet and share their enjoyment of playing the recorder.
Everyone between the ages of 7 and 18 is welcome whether a beginner or a more advanced player.
The College is based at Hazel Grove Methodist Church, Wesley Street, Hazel Grove, SK7 4JQ and is open each Saturday morning during term.
During the morning students play a variety of individual and group music and are encouraged to work towards Trinity Guildhall grade exams.
The College is run on a voluntary basis and tuition is provided free of charge with each full-time student paying a subscription of just £45 per term to help cover the hire of the church.
